R.I.P. Shump

Shump, a half-orc, was born some 20 years ago in the Shadow Marches. His early years were spent trudging through the swamplands near his home searching for dragonshards. In his teens he worked briefly as a mercenary for House Tharashk. The last few years he spent as a laborer at the shipyards of Sharn and enjoyed relaxing in the evenings in his cave far below the city while listening to the waves crashing against the rocks. He thought that fortune had finally smiled on him when he received a summons to escort a party from House Cannith into Darguun on a mysterious mission to the Mournlands. Known for his size, strength, dim-wittedness, and haggling abilities, Shump fell in battle as he was sliced to pieces by a raging half-ogre. He is survived by his mother, Elsie, two brothers, Throng and Macca, and one sister, Honoria.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations of dragonshards and gold.

Dear Elsie:

Though I am an Elf, I was devastated by the loss of Shump. His death was honorable, and his triumphs whilst escorting our party earned him several new scars of which he was especially proud.

Please accept my condolences. Shump will be missed.

Dear Elsie:

G.O.D. here...you don't know me, but you might say that Shump was smitten by me...err...that is to say... he died for me... uh...this isn't coming out right at all... See, I have a killer rep, and when I met your Shump I was like "now, here's a half-orc that's dead-sexy...the sort you could love to pieces..." and then BAM!! He's gone. Dirt. Dead. Nothing but mush n'...more mush... Anyway, I kinda lost my train of thought here and forgot what I originally intended to say. I think the point was something along the lines of I'm sorry you had to find out about Shump's death like this...I had really hoped a band of rampaging ogres would have come by for revenge long before now. Sorry for your loss...you may want to consider anonymous relocation...I'm just saying...
